The Wedding Day Checklist

Getting married is one of the most important days of a couples life and it is the day in which everything comes together and the love that they have for each other finally shines through to all of their friends and family. With this is mind you do not actually want to forget anything when it comes to the big day because that amazing day could turn into a disaster very quickly indeed. Here is a list of some of the things you are going to need for the wedding that you could currently be forgetting.

The Food

The chances of you forgetting the food are very slim indeed but have you catered for people such as vegetarians and people with very strict dietary needs? Doing this is actually key to many things because you do not want someone that has a nut allergy to suddenly drop down halfway through your wedding as this would most certainly ruin your day!

Jewellery

the wedding dress is going to be sorted, this is quite possible the first thing the bride to be things about but have you even given thought to what kind of jewellery you are going to be wearing with that white dress?? You will find that silver jewellery goes really well with any white dress but also something else to look into include the more contemporary turquoise jewellery and silver earrings so make sure you keep these in your thoughts too.

the big problem is that these will not be the only things that you will have forgotten and you need to put together a big list so that you can tick things off as soon as you have done them, this way you are going to be covered no matter what hapens. Do not keep this list to yourself but send it around so other people can add things you may have forgotten to the list!

You are going to have a great day so do not worry!

How To Keep Your Cool On The Hottest Day Of Your Life.

Depending on your perspective, weddings can be beautiful, exhilarating, extravagant, or nerve-wracking. As the bride-to-be, how do you make sure you stay calm on the biggest day of your life. Here are a few things to keep in mind to help you keep things in perspective and so you can enjoy your wedding day.

Plan Ahead

The first step in staying calm on your wedding day begins the day after he slips the diamond on your finger. Even though the wedding day may be many months away, planning ahead today will keep you on track tomorrow. Remember that whether or not you use a wedding planner, you are ultimately responsible for planning your wedding.

Okay, I know it sounds like this is more work than you signed up for. But a wedding is nothing more than one huge project. A wedding is made up of a million details to be managed and tracked, and this is no different whether yours will be large or small. Does your caterer know that most of the bridal party is vegetarian? Does your florist know that the pink roses are supposed to match the pink fabric of the bridesmaid’s dresses? Have you considered where you’re going to hold your garden wedding if it rains?

Listen to Suggestions

You will have a million different decisions to make while planning your wedding. You can choose to research and decide on every detail, or you can choose to listen to the professionals and take their advice. If you take the time to listen you will get great suggestions from the florist, caterer, dressmaker and other professionals that will help you save money, get good deals, and create the perfect wedding day.

Let People Help

Whether it’s after your fifteenth argument with the caterer about what exactly constitutes a vegetarian meal, or when your make-up artist tells you that she will be in Alaska on your wedding day, there comes a time when every bride-to-be needs to ask for help. Quite simply, this is when your friends and family will be invaluable. This is also why you have a maid of honor. She’s not just there to stand beside you at the alter; she’s there to help her friend. However, the best person to ask for help is actually your future mother-in-law. It is the perfect chance to build a solid relationship with your husband-to-be’s mother, rather than the more traditionally rocky one.

You Can’t Control Everything

For as long as you’ve been organizing your wedding, you’ve been planning to introduce your best friend and your company accountant. You expected them to hit it off, but then you notice that he’s dancing with one of your husband’s cousins and your best friend is sitting by herself at the bar. That’s when you just have to let it go. Remember that there are some things that simply can’t be controlled. This can be a hard thing to get your around, seeing as you’ve spent months ordering people around and trying to be in control of everything, and it can be hard to just let go. But remember the most important thing – this is your wedding day. So forget about everybody else, grab your new husband by the hand, and hit the dance floor.

Don’t Let Them Call You Bridezilla

Bridezilla is not the most flattering term to describe any woman. It fashions images of a hairy beast in a white dress holding a bouquet of roses. This picture is especially hard to handle when this is supposed to be the one day when you look like princess. In order to make sure that you don’t lose it on your wedding day, here are a few things to keep in mind.

A Wedding is a Party

Although the service itself is a traditional ceremony imbued with symbolism, tradition and meaning, the reception itself is just one big party. And parties should be fun. Yes, it’s a party that you have spent many months and many thousands of dollars planning. But as much as you try, when the day comes, the details will be out of your hands. The time comes when you will need to take a step back and let the professionals do what you’ve hired them to do.

When you take a bite of the beautiful vanilla cake that you ordered only to discover that it is actually chocolate, simply take a deep breath and smile. These things happen. The bigger your wedding, the more things there are that can go wrong. This is no time to run out of the room in a huff, or to throw the cake in anyone’s face but the groom during the obligatory feeding. At the end of the day, a cake is just a cake. It didn’t destroy your wedding or your life. Instead of falling apart, simply eat your cake and enjoy it.

Nothing Is Ever Perfect

This brings us to the subject of perfection. Every bride talks about weddings as being he perfect day. But that’s a lot of pressure to put on any human being, especially a bride. Although perfection is an admirable goal, it is really not something that can be fully achieved. You can approach perfection by planning ahead and keeping track of the details. When the time comes for you to walk down the aisle, simply let it all go, center yourself, relax and enjoy your day.

Remember to Smile

Remember your last job interview. Remember the way you felt – so nervous that you thought you were going to faint. You had to explain why you were leaving your last job while remaining politically correct and speaking positively about your boss, your colleagues, and your working conditions. You will need that attitude during your reception. Pull it out of your bag of tricks when your new mother-in-law makes snide comments about your hairstyle or the best man has a few drinks and then starts telling embarrassing stories about you and your groom. No matter what happens, stay calm. If you lose your cool, you’ll be labeled a bridezilla forever.

Are Other Peoples Weddings That Great?

Going to someone else’s wedding is something that a lot of people like doing, after all you can get drunk for free, laugh at the groom when the best man dishes out all of the dirt and have a great meal all in the aid of someone you barely even know! However when I attended at wedding at the weekend I will admit to it being not that great at all and this is down to several reasons indeed.

Not My Family

One of the biggest reasons why the day wasn’t great is because it was not my family so I knew around five people that were there which meant that not many people at all stopped and said a word to me which was rather rude. Of the people that I did know there one of them was very drunk indeed and just embarrassing herself immensely and considering I don’t like her anyway, she became even more annoying.

Hottest Day Of The Year

Another problem was that I had to pop on a suit, tie and shirt on the hottest day of the year so far and get up to the capital which is around 90 minutes from my quiet town, gee, thanks for picking such a great day. Thanks very much! All in all I would say this was the worst bit of the day because I did not stop sweating at all during the course of the day, it was non stop and very horrible indeed! Another point to add is that the music playing in the evening was terrible, even with many drinks down me I could only get up for a couple of songs.

Positives

The food was delicious, the drinks were free but that was about it when it comes to the positives of the day I am afraid.

They did have a good wedding photographer in Kent that they found in one of thoseserviced offices London, he took great wedding photographs.

Why Do People Get Married At Disneyworld?

Disney Weddings

Disneyworld is a location in which so many people get married each year and there are of course reasons for this, so without further ado let’s have a look at why people actually get married at Disneyworld and how much it is costing them.

The Wedding Chapel

Disney built a multimillion dollar chapel right in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon back in 1995 and this is when Disney actually started to get into the wedding business. They realised that thousands of people were visiting the parks for their honeymoon (it is the biggest place in the USA for honeymooners) so they thought they would get into the wedding business too. The very first wedding in this chapel was televised to make it public to the world that Disney were doing this.

Since the chapel first opened there have been over 27,000 couples getting married here (this is over 1,500 a year) which is a huge amount of people. My girlfriend actually wants to get married in this location and this is going to cost me a lot considering I am in the UK! (we do visit Florida often though).

Magical Experience

If you are a true Disney fan then you are really going to want to get married, you can have Cinderella’s carriage as transportation and you can get married right in front of the Magic Kingdom, you can have get your favourite Disney characters to turn up on the big day which is pretty awesome. If you are planning on getting married in the Magic Kingdom you better have enough money because this is going to cost (on average) 25,000 dollars, if only I had that amount of money!

Although getting married in Disney is going to be expensive, it is well worth it because it is Disney and the day will be great!

You might not want to book that Brighton photographer and that wedding photography Hampshire until you are out there so you don’t have to pay for them too! Leave those serviced offices and get hitched in Disney!

Well the met office predicted an amazing summer last year which of course didn’t happen at all but this is just typical of the met office. The people to really look out for are the positive weather solutions as they have got it right two years in a row. Anyone with plans to get married during the summer months are in luck as they have predicted a pretty warm summer indeed which is great!

June is looking to be a fantastic month to start off with but mid month we are going to see rain and then great again near the end. July is looking to be raining for the first few days but after this it is going to be a fantastic month, follow by a few thunderstorms towards the end of the month. The first few days of August are full or rain but after this the month is going to be a fantastic one indeed. This news is all absolutely fantastic for weddings!

A summer wedding looks to be a fantastic idea this year which is a great thing indeed, you have no need to worry when it comes to booking it for the dates because the summer is supposed to look really good, just make sure the wedding is too and you will be fine!!

You also need to take the time and effort into look for a photographer like wedding photographer and wedding photography Hampshire is a good place to look. So there you have it, get out of your serviced offices and get married this Summer!

Common Wedding Spots

There are many locations in which people get married in that are very common indeed, these are usually chosen because they are easy, cheap and also very appropriate for the people in question. Here are just some of the spots that people use the most when it comes to the big day in which they are getting married on.

Church

This has to be the most common of all places where people get married and why not, it has been tradition in many families for generations. The church is not just for religious people nowadays like it was in the old times and it is just a place people feel that the marriage is finalised. The Church to me is actually somewhere that seems more legitimate than getting married within the reception itself.

Reception

When it comes to getting married it would seem this is the next biggest place to do it, there are so many that are into this. More often than not people find it to be cheaper than church. For many people a reception area is for smaller gatherings and this actually makes the place a lot more intimate for the couple that are getting married. This is great for people who are totally against religion.

It is up to you on which option you choose in the end and it is really down to you, you do not have to pick either of these two options by any means. When it comes to making a decision I would actually do what both you and your partner want to do, this is the best way forward. This decision making process that you do together is key to how the marriage will look.

Make sure you book your Sussex Wedding Photographer or wedding photography Hampshire whilst you are sitting in yourserviced offices.

Why Is It Important To Have The Right Wedding Reception

A lot of people out there seem m ore concerned by things like the main wedding event like whether or not it will be in a church and what church it will be in and what the weather is going to be like at this time of year. So many couples forget that the majority of the day is actually spent inside the wedding reception and not the location in which you get married.

Some people really do completely forget about the location of the wedding reception itself and this is because they just do not deem it to be important. You really must make sure that you choose the right location for the reception to ensure that the whole day works out perfectly for the both of you. Here are some of the key locations that people seem to enjoy.

Barns

An old barn that can be converted into pretty much everything is often a good way in for many people and this is often because you can actually have the wedding and the reception all in the same area, saves a lot on money. There are so many things that you can do with a location like this which is why couples choose it.

Gardens

This is another popular and usually cheap one and this is because again you can fit the wedding and reception in the same area and you can have it in your own home if it is big enough and a lot of people prefer doing things in a place that they recognise. For the bride and groom this is a great thing because they can simply get as drunk as they like and not have to worry about getting home themselves.

So there are just a couple of ideas for you to look out for, make sure you have the right that  wedding photographer in Kent so they capture the moments you want in the right way. Don’t worry if you haven’t got that wedding photography Hampshire you wanted but make sure you get someone that can take decent wedding photographs.

Uncommon Wedding Spots

There are many locations across the world that people choose to get married at but some are of course better than others. Here are some of the ones couples love to go to.

Their Back Yard

Okay so it might not be the most extravagant of places to get married at but it is something a lot of people do because it is cheap, easy and people are familiar with surroundings and this is important to a lot of people. Just because it is cheap and easy does not mean it cannot be one of the best out there. One of the best things about this is that your family can continue to party into the night because the venue never shuts!.

Disneyworld

There seem to be so many people out there that either get married at this place or have their honeymoon here. You can really see why people do this, it is a great place to visit. If you are thinking about getting married in front of Cinderella castle then be prepared to pay out for it. 10,000 dollars is the bare minimum that this is going to cost you! If you have the money for this kind of thing that this is something worth doing.

A Boat

Believe it or not, this is the common one when it comes to the list which is a shame because it is a fantastic place. Of course a boat is not going to be big enough you need something like a yacht for a wedding and this makes it awesome.

So along with that wedding day photos and wedding photography Hampshire why not look into getting married somewhere a bit different when it comes to the big day? Go on, leave the serviced offices and get married.
